Hoka Announces New Trail Running Shoes : Distinctive French brand has new models
due out later this year. French purveyors of distinctive heavily-cushioned running
shoes, Hoka, are back for this autumn with two new shoes dubbed 'ReRun' and
aimed – in the words of the brand's founder - “to allow people to
run longer, to run more often, and to run without injury”. Like the original
Hoka One shoes, the new models use significantly more cushioning than standard
trail-running shoes along with a wide, stable base profile. The Combo XT is
a hybrid running shoe intended for use on roads and dry trails and with a 'dense,
highly cushioned EVA mid-sole'.
